A web quest
Introduction: In recent years their has been many disagreements dealing with equality. Some of these have been political arguments and others have been driven by public sentiment. Issues such as health care, immigration, and racial tensions have been at the center of these debates. As people interested in driving change for we must look at how groups who have sought major change in political action and public sentiment have done to succeed. Two such groups in the 19th century were the Abolitionists and the Women's Rights organization.
Task: In this activity you will seek out what made these groups successful and then create a plan that groups who wish for change today can follow. Your plan can be presented in the form of a poster, video, PowerPoint or radio advertisement. You will also need to write three justification statements about why your plan should help them bring change successfully.
Research: Use each of the following sources to better understand how groups become successful.
